hey andy,
just been on the web looking at having a bit of a carrer break only a month or so. not got anyone at the moment who is in the posistion to tavel but have been looking into companys that do group travel! have u ever been on such a thing? lookinginto travelling to south africa for a month, accomadation and all is payed for just gotta pay for food and flights out there. the holiday is £1600. cheaper to go it alone or go with company never surfed outside uk so looking to expand and my horizon. hows is surfing over this neck of the woods and shld i bite the bullet ang go it alone. appriciate the advice

GREAT BEACH BREAKS AROUND THE DURBAN AREA WITH WARM WATER ALL THE WAY THROUGH TO THE EPIC BUT COLDER J BAY AREA. WITH EVERY VARIETY OF WAVES ON THE WAY. TRY AND GET TO CHECK OUT THE DRIVE BY SOUTH AFRICA DVD FOR A GOOD LOOK AT WHATS HAPPENING DOWN THERE. AS FOR TRAVELLING ALONE, YOU ARE GOING TO A PLACE WHERE SURFING IS WELL ESTABLISHED AND YOU WILL HAVE NO PROBLEM HOOKING UP WITH PEOPLE WHO ARE ON THE SAME WAVE LENGTH AS YOU. cheers for the advice, think j bay is guna b a must! plans are now underway think it now might turn into an 2009 trip with a few friends. more choice and freedom than going with a organised company. but will let ya know how things go. thanks again
